Administrative Support is a critical function within any organization, and as an Administration Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
About the RoleThis position involves providing administrative assistance to our small team, including data entry, word processing, ordering stationery, reconciling e-tickets and parking vouchers.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team with general administrative tasks such as data management, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate internal events, meetings, and seminars, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption to staff work.
- Liaise with suppliers, visitors, and staff members, maintaining strong relationships and communication channels.
- Assist the Accounts Payable team with invoice processing and financial reconciliation.
A reliable, organized individual who values collaboration and attention to detail will excel in this role. If you have experience in administration and/or corporate reception roles, are proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.
