About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the delivery of animal health, welfare and biosecurity information to Victorian farmers.

  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies to promote industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the wider VFF team and external agencies to author and edit written copy, including email newsletters, news articles, social media posts and advertising.
  • Curate content for delivery across digital and traditional communication channels.
  • Liaise with industry experts, government departments, and farmers to support the delivery of industry funded projects.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Degree or demonstrated experience in marketing, journalism, or media and communications.
  2. Excellent oral and written skills to communicate scientific and technical information in plain English.
  3. Experience in digital communication tools, including CRM, social media, and website management.
  4. Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and excellent customer service skills.
  5. Strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks.
