Job Role: Communications And Content Manager

About The Job

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications and Content Manager to lead our creative services team. As a key member, you will be responsible for creating innovative ideas for brands across all our audio platforms.

This is a parental leave cover position with the contract anticipated to end in March 2026. You will build and maintain relationships with various internal teams, including sales, programming, and support functions such as trade marketing, research, and insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with content teams to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Produce compelling go-to-market collateral and communicate opportunities to the sales teams effectively;
  • Develop bespoke integrated campaigns in response to client briefs, utilising all available audio assets to drive premium revenue across both audio-only and multi-platform solutions;
  • Serve as a specialist on podcast content, providing content integration support and knowledge to sales teams;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Radio/podcast experience is essential;
  • Creativity to come up with ideas that deliver sales solutions connecting with audiences across Talk Radio, Catch Up podcasts, and Original podcasts;
  • Proven experience negotiating with content creators, sales people, clients or agencies (ideally gained from working for media owners);
  • Strategic thinking – why our ideas and platform will deliver for brands;
  • Excellent stakeholder management – ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams;
  • Pitch & negotiation skills – selling ideas into content teams and sales teams;
  • Project management skills and high attention to detail;
