Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, working under the guidance of our experienced technicians and receiving formal internal and external training.
Job DescriptionThis is a varied position that involves a high level of commitment to safety, customer service, and ability to represent Penske as a technical specialist. You will be mentored through the last of your apprenticeship while carrying out servicing work in our on-highway side of the business.
Requirements- You have completed your 1st or 2nd year of studying a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
- You have a mechanical aptitude and take pride in completing work to a high standard.
- You have a passion for vehicles, engines, or the automotive industry demonstrated through previous work experience and/or hobbies and interests.
- You have a strong desire to learn and develop a range of new skills associated with your chosen trade.
- You are motivated to achieve individual and team goals and objectives by actively contributing to the work on hand.
- You demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety.
- You offer strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Above award hourly rate + OT + tool allowance + benefits.
- Work across a diverse range of premium products: mtu, Detroit, Allison Transmission, Western Star Trucks, Dennis Eagle, and MAN Truck & Bus.
- Full Time Position, 38 hour working week.
