This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing cyber security industry. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with penetration tests against clients' applications and network assets. The role involves manual and automation testing to identify vulnerabilities and working with various testing tools to probe an organisation's network.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in penetration testing across network, application, and mobile environments. A strong understanding of IT and cyber security strategy, policies, standards, procedures, and controls is also essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have the ability to work effectively with customers and teams.

About the Role:

As a Cyber Security Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with penetration tests against clients' applications and network assets;\
  • Working with various testing tools to probe an organisation's network and identify vulnerabilities;\
  • Providing reports on findings and serving as the primary technical contact for project delivery;\
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their security needs and develop effective solutions;\
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and technologies in the field of cyber security.\

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • \
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in penetration testing across network, application, and mobile environments;\
  • A strong understanding of IT and cyber security strategy, policies, standards, procedures, and controls;\
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;\
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and teams;\
  • At least one of the following certifications: CREST CRT, CCT, GPEN or OSCP.\
