Therapy Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and culturally sensitive environment, providing physiotherapy services to clients in need.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and evaluating clients, working collaboratively to support the care and developmental needs of Aboriginal clients in the NT.
">- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy services, including assessment, treatment, planning, and evaluation for individuals with a wide range of conditions.
- Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, incorporating evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the overall quality of care and promote positive outcomes for clients.
- Participate in regular performance feedback and improvement sessions to continually refine and enhance practice.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with adult case loads, preferably in a community health setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in varied physiotherapy methods of assessment, treatment, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of personal resilience and adaptability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services in challenging situations.
- Experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service or similar community-based organization.
- Knowledge of cultural safety principles and practices, with a demonstrated understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity in healthcare delivery.
