Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rates Officer to join our team on a temporary basis with extension possibilities.

This role offers a great opportunity to work within a government organisation and utilize your skills and experience to administer the City's pensioners rebate rate and deferment claim, as well as ensure accurate and timely rating through financial systems.

  • Administers debt recovery and debt collection processes.
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertakes other duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures accurate and timely rating through financial systems, inclusive of database maintenance.
Requirements for Success:
  • Proven experience in rates or credit management role.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Good attention to details.
