The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team, reporting to the General Manager – Australian Branches. Based in Darra or Sydney, this role will focus on managing Warranty and DLP conversions across VAE to maximize contract conversion, growth, and scope, while ensuring confidence for customers, employees, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue, GM$, and EBIT targets for warranty maintenance
  • Manage company assets efficiently to optimize use and minimize costs
  • Monitor job hours and profitability
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Undertake or supervise reports, estimates, design layouts or systems diagrams, specifications, materials, and cost estimates
  • Manage DLP servicing, including key account management for DLP clients
  • Drive service-specific innovations to support DLP clients and ensure successful warranty conversion
  • Lead, manage, and develop staff, fostering technical expertise and customer relationships
  • Provide technical and account management support and advice to CAM's, project delivery staff, and others to ensure clarity in outcome expectations
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers by ensuring high satisfaction
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Assist with tender preparation, quotations, and service contract renewals
  • Handle complex service and warranty issues
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic account management or similar capacity
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, BMS, and Analytics solutions
  • Leadership, particularly with respect to value adding, safety, and customer service
  • Relationship-based sales experience
  • Marketing and company representation
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Competent project management skills
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial statements, project forecasts, and service trends
  • Exceptional time management
  • Strong interest in developing staff
