Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor to join our team.

  • As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various exercise programs, including Aqua Aerobics, Les Mills GRIT, SHAPES and BODYPUMP, Yoga, HIIT, Tabata, C30 - Functional and Lower Body, Fit and Fab and Circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach group fitness classes to diverse groups of participants
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different fitness levels
  3. Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participant safety and understanding
  4. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications in group fitness instruction (e.g. Certificate III in Fitness)
  • Proven experience in teaching group fitness classes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well-developed communication skills
  • Certificate III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
  • Relevant Program Certification (e.g., Aqua Aerics, Deep Water Running, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Barre, Cycle, Circuit, Les Mills)
  • Current fitness registration with relevant industry associations
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People
  • Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
