Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced trainer to develop and deliver emergency response training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs that meet contractual requirements.
  • Develop departmental-specific curriculum guidelines consistent with national legislation, best practices, and program implementation.
  • Support the development of assessment tools to ensure appropriate systems, governance, and processes are in place to manage ongoing skills and competency maintenance.
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have a background in firefighting and first aid capability. They will also have evidence of skills and competencies to support fire fighting background.

  • Familiarity with emergency services and operational excellence practices is essential.
  • Experience in training and people management is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • The successful incumbent must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a defence baseline security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PUA50120 Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management)
  • PUA30622 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Diploma of Vocational Education & Training desirable)
  • PUAFIR205 Respond to aviation incident (specialist)
  • PUAFIR305 Respond to aviation incidents (general)
  • HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid or higher qualification
