Riverview Part Time Nanny Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to care for two boys (6 and 4 years) in a lovely professional family in Riverview.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love of children, be experienced and confident in engaging and managing energetic little boys, and be able to adapt well to the family's needs.

The nanny's responsibilities will include:

  • Caring for the children and providing routine and structure
  • Picking up and dropping off from school
  • Assisting with homework and preparing a family meal
  • Grocery shopping and running errands occasionally
  • Assisting with light household duties

The contract length is permanent, and the pay is $40 per hour. The days and normal hours are 2 half days per week - 10 hours, with flexible hours for the right candidate.

The family requires a nanny with:

  • 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A current working with children's check number
  • Preschool/Primary experience
  • Strong communication skills and good English
  • A full Drivers licence and clean driving record
  • Non Smoker/vaper
  • Basic cooking skills
  • Able to swim

Please note that driving is essential, and the family requires a nanny who can commit to the role on a long-term basis.
