As a Guest Service Representative, you are the face of our business, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. Your role involves greeting walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine their interests and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly greet guests with a smile and ensure they feel valued and appreciated.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on our cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
- Suggest additional merchandise to complete a unique celebration, such as balloons, candles, and cards.
- Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which includes routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
- Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
- Assist the baker in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- No formal education or work experience is required, but previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant, or retail store is a plus.
Availability:
You must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
