About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a variety of settings, including hospitals, health services, and communities. As a Rural Generalist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to patients in need.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine and general practice services to patients in rural areas
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of local health initiatives and policies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
- Several years of experience in general medicine, general practice, and/or emergency medicine
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and demonstrated proactive career progression
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
