We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Relations Specialist to join our team at Webuild S.p.A. as an Industrial Relations Advisor. This is a challenging role that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver timely, practical solutions to employee and industrial relations challenges.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various employee relations matters across the Project sites.
- Promote positive working relationships, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Analyse employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Manage workplace grievances, complaints, and investigations, with a focus on proactive prevention and resolution.
- Interpret complex employee relations and legislative/policy matters, including the site-specific enterprise agreements, and effectively communicate these to all stakeholders in clear and understandable terms.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology, Law, or a relevant field.
- Construction White Card.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Relations Advisor or in a similar role, handling employee relations matters.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and IR/HR policies and practices.
- Strong understanding of conflict resolution techniques and mediation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
- Ability to conduct thorough and objective investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyse employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases and prioritize work effectively.
- Demonstrated Industrial and Employee relations experience, preferably on-site.
- Exceptional influencing, negotiation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the management of workplace grievances, complaints, and investigations, with a focus on proactive prevention and resolution.
- Demonstrated resilience and capacity to autonomously prioritize tasks, manage risk, and engage with stakeholders efficiently.
- Ability to interpret complex employee relations and legislative/policy matters, including the site-specific enterprise agreements, and effectively communicate these to all stakeholders in clear and understandable terms.
- Knowledge and experience in the application of HR/IR systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the broader IR team to execute projects and initiatives, including supporting EBA negotiations and leadership development programs.
- Identify emerging issues in a workplace and assist in developing strategies to mitigate risks.
