Job Title: Health and Physical Education Specialist

This position involves delivering Health and Physical Education to students from Years 7 to 12 at a large co-educational Catholic college in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver curriculum for Health and Physical Education classes, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) courses.
  • Collaborate with the HPE faculty to develop new resources, effectively integrate technology into the classroom and drive student engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in education policies and regulations, applying this knowledge to inform teaching practices.
  • Contribute professionally and collegially to the HPE team, demonstrating excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Teaching or a related field.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
