About the Role

Roshana Care Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Care Assistant to join our team at our facilities. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality person-centered services to enhance the well-being, comfort, and enjoyment of our residents.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Cleaning and Laundry: Ensure the house is kept clean and tidy through the undertaking of pantry, laundry, and cleaning duties, in accordance with shift guidelines.
  2. Supporting Residents: Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to modify and adapt household tasks to meet individual resident needs to use their abilities and enable their safe and active participation in tasks that provide a sense of purpose.
  3. Meal Preparation: Serve meals and beverages to all residents of the Facility, maintaining and using equipment effectively, and ensuring compliance with food safety requirements.
Skills and Attributes

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Personable, with a genuine empathy and enjoyment of working with people who are aged.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to complete a busy and physically demanding workload.
  • A high level of comprehension and attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of Occupational Safety and Health principles.
