**About the Role**

The role of Laundry and Cleaning Assistant contributes to the maintenance of a safe, pleasant, and comfortable environment in both resident rooms and spaces across the nursing home. This is accomplished by providing high-quality, safe, efficient, and sanitary care services that are person-centred and keep the environment clean. The job is also responsible for ensuring that the hygiene and security of facilities and equipment meet relevant regulatory standards, including occupational health and safety regulations.

All responsibilities must be carried out in line with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards and under the supervision of the Operational Manager / facility management team.

**About You**
- **Must be Chinese and English speaking**:

- Proven expertise in domestic and commercial cleaning, preferable in an aged care or health care environment.
- Possess a positive, warm, pleasant, and engaging demeanour that will contribute to Sunny Care high standard services.

**Salary**: From $29.96 per hour

Expected hours: 29.96 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sunnybank Hills, QLD 4109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
