Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide expert rehabilitation services and support individuals in returning to work.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and work collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing rehabilitation plans, and providing education and support to clients and employers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Work collaboratively with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to implement rehabilitation plans and achieve return-to-work outcomes
  • Provide education and support to clients and employers on injury prevention, workplace modification, and return-to-work strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative rehabilitation programs and services

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
  • Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
