Key Responsibilities
The Infrastructure Officer is responsible for ensuring the security, safety, and control of prisoners at Adelaide Women's Prison. This involves assessing, training, and advising prisoners on maintenance and beautification service functions.
Oversight and direction of prisoner work groups, contractors, and allied services ensures that departmental policies and procedures are followed, with standards maintained and optimized.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include trade certifications in Building Industry, Mechanical and Allied Services, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry & Joinery trades, or qualifications to Certificate 4 or Diploma Level in Horticulture or relevant industry experience.
Desirable qualifications include a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and ability to obtain a qualification as a Certificate 4 Workplace Assessor.
