Hygiene and Store Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive team member to focus on store hygiene, cleanliness and trolley accessibility both inside and outside the store. This role will deliver a positive shopping experience for our customers.
This physically demanding role includes collecting and pushing trolleys from designated locations in store, completing scheduled/routined store cleaning, and operating a range of equipment.
Your shifts will be structured with set tasks to complete, including:
- Collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas
- Completing cleaning tasks following a daily task schedule
- Helping customers in store with answering questions or providing directions
- Using various cleaning equipment and chemicals to scrub, mop, sweep, and clean all areas of our store
- Completing waste disposal tasks
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A can-do attitude with a roll-up-the-sleeves approach to tasks
- The ability to travel to and from your employing store
- Ability to work a rotating shift roster (early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
- Ability to stand for periods of time and lift loads between 5-10kgs
