Senior Technology Project Lead (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

This senior technology project lead role is ideal for a seasoned professional experienced in delivering enterprise technology projects, particularly around Microsoft Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will have expertise in leading the delivery of end-to-end technology projects, managing cross-functional teams, and championing cloud-first thinking.

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and/or CRM implementations and upgrades.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects across various industries, primarily in the Manufacturing market.
  • Define project scope, create delivery plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal consultants, developers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, issue resolution, and strategic guidance.
  • Support cloud migration and modernisation projects, including legacy ERP or CRM transitions to D365.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, risk management, and quality assurance standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Technology Project Lead delivering ERP, CRM, or business systems projects, ideally within a Microsoft Partner or IT consultancy. They should also have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - FinOps, Business Central, Customer Engagement.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects with medium timelines (3 - 6 months), demonstrating strong understanding of cloud technology projects and ERP / CRM implementation lifecycles. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key qualifications include project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM) and experience working with small to mid-market clients or across multiple industries.
