Warehouse Specialist

The role of a Warehouse Specialist involves ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations. This includes picking, packing, and dispatching orders while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage inventory levels by performing putaways into designated locations safely and on time.
- Process both Inbound & Outbound orders efficiently using hand held technology such as RF scanners to streamline processes.
- Replenish stock to meet customer expectations and minimize stock damage.
- Operate WMS to print labels & check data accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all incoming & outgoing orders.
- Support operation in stocktakes as required.
- Previous experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment is essential.
- Hold a Forklift Licence (High Reach and/or Counter Balance).
- Proven experience with picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders.
- Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners.
- Able to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service.
- Understanding of the importance of adherence to WHS policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- Flexible, positive attitude.
