About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MPU Operator to join our team at the United Wambo site in the Singleton region. As an MPU Operator, you will be responsible for operating an Open Cut MPU in a safe and efficient manner to provide a quality product for blasting at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of a MPU for manufacturing explosives
- Delivery of emulsion-based explosives in alignment with contracted services
- Basic maintenance on all on-site equipment
- Completion of required paperwork
Requirements
- Operational experience as a qualified MPU Operator or demonstrated equipment operation experience on an active blast bench
- Commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- HR Driver's License (essential) / NSW UHL (essential) / Forklift (HRWL) Licence (desirable)
- RII Qualification in Mobile Mixing Explosives / RII Qualification in Support Shot firing
- Excellent communication skills, supportive team member with a positive attitude
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize blasting schedules and operational duties
- Good computer literacy, and aptitude to learn and use site-specific software
