We're seeking a seasoned estimator to join our team. As a Sales Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us drive growth and achieve our strategic objectives.

About the Opportunity

The Sales Estimator will work closely with our sales consultants, reporting directly to the Sales Estimating Manager, and will be part of a collaborative team environment. The primary focus of this role is to accurately determine and calculate estimates for new quote requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determining estimates for a range of homes, including single-storey, split-level, and double-storey designs
  • Generating site costs, including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculations
  • Completing sales tenders on registered and unregistered land, utilising site inspection photos and reports, satellite photos, and street view maps
  • Reading and interpreting construction plans, checking compliance, and assessing construction methodology
  • Crafting pre-contract variation pricing and preparing scope of works
  • Evaluating external reports to inform cost estimations for each project
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Providing support with contract variations and other related tasks
About You

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role and industry
  • Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
  • Experience interpreting building plans and associated reports and documentation

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • A proven track record of innovative problem-solving
