Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Director

This role involves developing and monitoring our supply chain strategy, focusing on productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction metrics. The Supply Chain Logistics Director will work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure quality, safety, and delivery standards are met.

To facilitate future sales growth, we need someone who can continuously analyze customer feedback and design plans to effectively manage growth and plan the future footprint of suppliers and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead, coach, and inspire teams to meet company objectives, including productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
  • Implement 'best practice' supply chain methods and drive end-to-end continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement supply chain plans for seamless product flow through inventory management and demand and supply planning
  • Identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Develop and embed the Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Purchasing (SIOP) process to drive business success
  • Coordinate deliveries to achieve company delivery metrics and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Undertake continuous improvement projects locally and globally to drive business excellence
  • Achieve company objectives for delivery, inventory, and productivity targets
  • Work towards global company objectives, including revenue growth and profitability
  • Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures and stocktakes to minimize costs
  • Build and develop high-potential team members and plan for their growth and development
  • Financially manage the end-to-end supply chain, implementing programs for strategic growth and profitability in line with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, accounting, or MBA qualification
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a high SKU environment
  • Experience with lean tools, models, and methods
  • Demonstrated efficiency improvements in previous roles
  • Demonstrated commercial analytical experience and strong reporting skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company success
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
  • End-to-end supply chain experience
  • Experience with Health and Safety procedural best practices in Supply Chain Management
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
