Job Opportunity

The Role of Portfolio Profitability Manager is critical to achieving maximum profitability across Australia and New Zealand portfolios.

  • Develop strategies that minimize write-offs and losses while ensuring best-in-class compliance and quality.
  • Drive Auction Partners to achieve optimal sale prices on repossessed assets, monitor operating lease inspections, invoicing, and returns.
  • Manage the direction and performance of teams for key stakeholders.
  • Oversee returns and excess charges for Operating Lease products, retailer and brand partner relationships, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Digitize and automate systems, processes, and customer communications where possible.

This leader will empower a high-performing team, devise and deliver focus areas including sales performance, stock levels, valuation accuracy, cure rates, net cost of risk, write-offs, shortfall contracts, and managing external vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maximizing profitability through effective management of the Recoveries portfolio.
  2. Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, approval limits, procedures, and legal standards.
  3. Communicating strategy and driving change programs with energy and negotiation.
  4. Analyzing key business data and presenting recommendations for improvements.

A successful candidate will possess strong leadership experience, industry knowledge focusing within finance, insurance, banking, and expertise in remarketing and auction house partners. Proven success driving employee engagement and delivering customer experience is essential.
