Aero Field Service Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aero Field Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our energy technology operations.

Job Responsibilities

As an Aero Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical guidance: You will provide technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Maintenance and repair: You will oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.
  • Documentation and reporting: You will prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.

To be successful in this role, you will require a good working knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment with experience on LM Aero Machinery line (LM2500, LM6000, etc.). Experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment is also essential.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills. As an innovative thinker, you will display a dynamic customer service-oriented mindset, with experience of leading customers through tough decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge: You will have a deep understanding of rotating equipment and its maintenance requirements.
  • Communication skills: You will be able to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Problem-solving skills: You will be able to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Leadership skills: You will be able to lead customers through difficult decisions and provide guidance to internal teams.
