Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration and Validation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, integration, and validation within the rail industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure effective preparation and execution of factory and site tests for verifying system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and operating scenarios.
  • To develop and continuously improve automation of software testing to support continuous integration environments.
  • To coordinate systems requirements management activities, including subsystem interface definition, documentation, agreement, and management.
  • To contribute to test and integration plans, ensuring strict monitoring of project activities and indicators.
  • To maintain a list of project issues, ensuring discussion and agreement with Project Engineer and Project Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Software Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Rail Industry Worker card and competencies (current or eligible to obtain).

Key Skills:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within the rail signalling field.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for automated testing of integrated systems.
  • Good logical reasoning and problem investigation/solving skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for manual and automated testing of integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of software standards, particularly EN 50128 highly regarded.
