The video editor plays a pivotal role in the production process, responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging visual narratives. Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced video editor to collaborate with senior videographers and content creators to deliver exceptional video assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the production team to develop compelling storylines and execute effective editing strategies.
  • Working closely with senior editors to ensure seamless integration of high-quality visual effects, music, and motion graphics.
  • Interpreting client feedback and implementing revisions while maintaining the overall aesthetic and tone of the project.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, software, and technologies to continually improve editing skills and efficiency.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a video editor, preferably in documentary or social media production.
  • Proficiency in Davinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, with expertise in animating motion graphics using Fusion or After Effects.
  • Proven ability to effectively source music and visual effects that enhance the narrative without overpowering it.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Experience working with RED and Black Magic camera equipment, as well as proficiency in editing footage from various sources.
