Automotive Service Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Manager to oversee and direct all service department activities in our retail store. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of the automotive industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while consulting customers
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through follow-up and communication
  • Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make recommendations for repairs
  • Build computerized repair orders and source parts for vehicles
  • Deliver pricing estimates to customers and promote shop services
  • Lead, manage, and train team members
  • Supervise technicians' inspections and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and organization

Qualifications:

  • General automotive knowledge
  • Excellent customer service disposition
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automotive experience required
