Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Security Professional to join our team at Ballina Airport. As a vital member of our security operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers.

About the Role:

  • You will conduct thorough screening of passengers, staff, and baggage, ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting passengers.
  • Monitor security checkpoints, oversee traffic flow, and ensure proper procedures are followed at all times.
  • Perform frisk and bag searches, generate incident reports, patrol the premises, and control access to sensitive areas.
  • Operate security technology, including metal detectors and X-ray machines.

Key Requirements:

  • NNSW Security License
  • Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) clearance or ability to obtain
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) & Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Current Driver licence
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently, and maintain strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings, national police checks, and medical assessments
