AI Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled AI engineer to join our organization for an initial six-month contract. This position will focus on developing and implementing intelligent document processing platforms, automating pre-existing manual processes.

Job Description:

This role involves the design, development, and implementation of an end-to-end AI/ML platform tailored to intelligent document processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating custom agents or automation bots, extracting structured data, and integrating outputs into user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop an AI/ML platform from scratch for intelligent document processing.
  • Build and implement custom agents or automation bots.
  • Extract structured data using AI-powered agents and integrate outputs into user-friendly interfaces.
  • Automate manual processes by leveraging agentic AI solutions.
  • Deploy and manage solutions within Azure ecosystems, including Azure ML, Azure Functions, and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an AI engineer with expertise in IDP, OCR, and data extraction.
  • Ability to showcase a portfolio of bot creation and automation of workflow and IDP.
  • Well-versed in working off and integrating solutions within Azure ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
  • Knowledge of document processing tools and intelligent document processing such as Azure Form Recognizer, Amazon Textract, Google Document AI, or custom OCR pipelines.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI architectures.
  • Desirable experience in banking, financial services, utilities, or insurance sectors.
