Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking skilled maintenance professionals to join our team. Our organization is a leading supplier of building and construction materials in South Australia, with a strong commitment to safety and excellence.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing plant and process inspections, repairs and maintenance, fault finding and problem-solving, and conducting audits and risk assessments on equipment.

  • Experience in performing plant and process inspections
  • Plant and equipment maintenance and repair
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Performing basic fault analysis and rectification
  • Identifying and reporting hazards
  • Safe operation of power tools
  • Trade Certification in mechanical engineering
  • Proven experience in a maintenance/repair role
  • Previous experience maintaining heavy machinery highly regarded

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues

  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance/repair role
  • Trade certification in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
