This Chemical Production Operator position involves working rotating shifts, including days and afternoons, with possible overtime. The successful candidate will have experience in chemical or food production environments.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating process equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and standards.
  • FOLLOWING WRITTEN AND VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS ACCURATELY TO ENSURE QUALITY PRODUCTION.
  • Maintaining production schedules while ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols, particularly in handling dangerous goods.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment, contributing to a smooth workflow.
  • Performing routine checks and maintenance of equipment as required.
  • Documenting production activities as per company requirements.
  • Being willing and available to work shifts and overtime as necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current forklift license with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience filling 20 tonne trucks with chemicals.
  • Liquid batch manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of Storage, Handling, and Transport of Dangerous Goods.
  • Clear and legible handwriting, with experience completing batch paperwork.
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods laws and regulations.
