About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd in Kemps Creek, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of associates in one of the following areas within the Fulfillment Center Operations: receive, stow, pick, pack or ship.



About You


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
  • Direct management experience involving sizable teams, with a proven track record of motivating others and building strong relationships
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A flexible schedule/shift/work area, including days, nights and weekends


Responsibilities


The Operations Manager will be responsible for:



  • Leading and developing a team of associates
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards within their remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site
  • Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
  • Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
  • Reviewing work forecasts and determining requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives
