Swimming Instructor Position

We are seeking a qualified swimming instructor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching effective swimming and water safety skills to students, while also communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach swimming and water safety skills to students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching, adhering to occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Energetic, innovative, and decisive teaching style.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2), CPR Certificate, and Working With Children Check.
  • Current Swim Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.
  • Desirable: Swim Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Swim Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion.
