Job Description

The role of Maintenance Team Leader is to oversee the daily operations of a maintenance team across multiple centres in South-East QLD & Northern NSW Region.

This is a full-time position where you will contribute to safe and efficient environments where children and teams can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onsite maintenance teams ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage daily, weekly and quarterly maintenance schedules to maintain smooth operations.
  • Mentor team members and foster a positive team culture promoting strong communication and time management skills.
  • Liaise with Centre Directors to align work with centre operations ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Complete general and preventative maintenance tasks using CMMS (MEX).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade background or strong maintenance experience is essential for success in this role.
  • Leadership and workflow coordination skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
  • CMMS knowledge particularly MEX will be beneficial in managing tasks efficiently.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance is mandatory.
  • A Full Driver's Licence and willingness to travel are required for this position.
  • Strong communication and time management skills are crucial for effective teamwork.
  • Owning tools is also an advantage.
