The role of a Companion carer

We are seeking a reliable and empathetic Companion carer to work with our valued clients in Griffith NSW. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be respectful of others' dignity, and have a natural ability to build meaningful relationships that make a positive difference.

Key responsibilities
  • Work within a client-centred environment, respecting the rights and needs of each individual
  • Provide companionship and support with daily errands, activities, and personal care
  • Assist with educational, social, or recreational pursuits
  • Prepare meals as required
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health and wellbeing

Weekend and overnight shifts may be necessary. Experience working with people experiencing cognitive decline is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
