Business Development Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to contribute to the growth of our Industrial segment in South Australia and Northern Territory.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to develop and implement business strategies, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with key clients.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical trade and/or sufficient experience in industrial automation sales.
  • Relevant industry experience with industrial switchgear and control products (CBs, MCC, VSDs, PLCs, HMIs, relays etc).
  • Strong ability to listen actively and translate customer needs into business solutions.
  • Proactive and a high degree of self-management.
  • Prior experience collaborating with various business unit channel management teams.
