Teaching Opportunity in Food Technology

We are seeking an experienced and skilled teacher to join our team in the role of Food Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about engaging students in the Hospitality Industry.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in teaching Certificate I and II in Hospitality, as well as experience working with students in a commercial kitchen. They will also be able to demonstrate a range of strategies to help students grasp difficult concepts and assist students with learning difficulties.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering educational programs that modelled within the Catholic Ethos, in a positive learning environment. You will also be required to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current registration with Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience teaching Certificate I and II in Hospitality.
  • Ability to teach in another learning area (for a full-time position) is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the school community, along with the ability to demonstrate the completion of, or working towards, Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School.
