Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students and staff.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sacramental Teacher to join our team of innovative professionals in Corpus Christi Parish, South Tuggeranong, to nurture each child's talents and gifts through the dynamic and stimulating Sacramental programs in the three parish primary schools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure those assisting with the teaching of the Parish Sacramental Program across the three schools are prepared.
2. Deliver the Sacramental program for students, creating a learning environment that stimulates learning and promotes excellence.
3. Collaborate with Parish Priest in the development of Sacramental Liturgies, maintaining professional confidentiality on information about students and families.
4. Provide timely and effective communication to the Principals, Religious Education Coordinators, and Priests of the three Catholic Primary schools.
5. Travel to all three parish primary schools to teach and assist with the teaching of the children involved in Sacramental preparation.

Qualifications and Attributes

1. A current Working with Vulnerable People registration and TQI Teaching Accreditation.
2. A practising Catholic commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education.
3. A sound knowledge of the CECG Religious Education Curriculum K - 6, with the ability to organise, select, and design content for effective teaching and learning and authentic faith formation.
4. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, engaging positively with colleagues, students, and parents.
