Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a professional truck driver. As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for operating multi-combination trucks safely and efficiently.

Our drivers play a critical role in transporting goods to various locations across the country while adhering to strict traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and distance travelled.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.
  • Report any vehicle defects or incidents to management immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current Multi Combination (MC) driver's license.
  • Induction training in Break Fatigue Management (BFM) System.
  • Previous experience driving trucks in a professional capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to work away from home for interstate runs.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
