Academic Administrator Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented administrator to join our Academic Services team on a full-time, fixed-term contract for six months.

The successful candidate will support the full student lifecycle from application to graduation for students enrolled through Partner Colleges, Local Church Colleges (LCCs), and VET Third Party arrangements.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, faith-based community that is committed to excellence in education and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process student applications, enrolments, withdrawals, and other administrative requests
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings with VET Third Party providers via digital platforms
  • Share application and enrolment data with Partner College and LCC liaisons
  • Assist Finance with preparing payment reports for Partners and Higher Education Liaison Colleges each semester
  • Respond to enquiries from faculty, facilitators, and stakeholders
  • Configure and maintain student records in the learning management system, including setting up fees, courses, and grades
  • Assist with graduation processing, including assessing completions and preparing certificates
  • Participate in the wider life and community of the institution
  • Perform other duties as directed by management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach
  • A positive and flexible attitude to change and new challenges
  • Comfortable using technology and managing student data
Benefits:

Full-time, fixed-term contract for six months. Competitive hourly rate: $31.80 per hour.

Essential Attributes:
  • Completion of a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service is highly regarded
  • Understanding of the VET and Higher Education sector is advantageous
