The role of a Kitchen Steward is to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Wash dishes, cutlery and heavy service equipment including large pots and pans
  2. Clean kitchen walls, benches and floors and remove rubbish bins
  3. Operate commercial dishwashers and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
  4. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
  5. Dismantle and clean specialized kitchen equipment

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen and be aware of workplace health and safety standards as well as food hygiene regulations.
