Senior Digital Marketing Specialist - Paid Media & Analytics

Digital marketing specialists play a vital role in shaping the online presence of businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the digital strategy for EVT's hotels and resorts owned channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Channels to implement digital strategies that drive customers to EVT owned websites, increase repeat visitation, and grow direct accommodation and C&E revenue.
  • Drive traffic and conversion via strong Paid Media tactics in alignment with revenue targets and brand objectives. Collaborate with the wider team to deliver full-funnel, data-driven campaigns for EVT Hotels & Resorts.
  • Use analytical skills to identify key customer touchpoints and provide actionable insights & data-driven recommendations.

Paid Media Execution & Management:

  • Execute and manage EVT Hotels and Resorts Paid Media campaigns across channels including but not limited to; Paid Search, Metasearch, Paid Social, Video, Programmatic Display, and OTA Pay-Per-Click Advertising.
  • Oversee Paid Media spend and ensure campaigns deliver against our CPM, CPC, CPA & ROAS targets.
  • Develop Paid Media strategies & media plans and set data-driven targets & reporting. Proficiency in data analytics and ability to analyse & activate data in campaign executions are essential.
  • Monitor campaign performance, adjust strategies, and optimise budgets for effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance media & analytics tags to ensure accurate tracking, optimisation, and reporting. Assist with implementing new initiatives & tactics that involve web and server-to-server conversion tracking and work closely with IT to ensure data quality & compliance.
  • Stay up to date with emerging digital trends and evolving technologies that create competitive advantage. Be on top of key updates & innovations in the digital space and be able to articulate how it could be used to drive improvement, efficiency, or growth.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and stay up to date with evolving laws and best practices in all digital marketing activities.
  • Manage QA, review & approval process of all Paid Media campaigns with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Develop and deploy a strong process to ensure efficiency and error-free executions. Attention to detail is very important for this role.
  • Take a data-driven approach by leveraging audience insights for shaping personalised & results-driven paid media strategies, and for driving continuous optimisation against KPIs across all platforms. Actively engage in actions to further enhance performance of paid media activity.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track, report, analyse brand.com data and optimise Paid Media strategy based on performance & revenue KPIs. Work in close collaboration with the wider team to drive the overall business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI analyses. Use data to identify performance improvement and optimisation opportunities.
  • Automate analytics and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Run an ongoing A/B testing and optimisation program to continuously improve strategy with data-driven experimentation, share insights and identity opportunities for growth.

Loyalty & Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Assist with executing EVT's lifecycle marketing strategies to drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention and enhance customer loyalty. Use Paid Media to drive new customer & member acquisitions and to engage/revitalise existing customers to generate repeat stays and grow avg. lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Channels, Senior Digital Marketing Specialist - CRM, CX & Lifecycle Marketing and Group Loyalty Manager to utilise customer data and insights to deliver a highly targeted and personalised experience across key Paid Media touchpoints.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years' experience working in Paid Media.
  • Hands-on experience in a digital agency or similar environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Proficient across Paid Media account management and optimisation tools/techniques.
  • Strong analytical & commercial skills with the ability to interpret data and to translate strategy into action.
  • Understanding of all relevant regulatory and legal requirements around customer data privacy, consent, and security.
  • Outstanding relationship builder, across the business with the ability to partner with key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail & strong end-to-end project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
