We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join the Metabolic Clinical Trials Unit.

The successful candidate will have highly developed oral and written communication skills and extensive experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems, practices, policies, procedures, and corporate records management.

This role involves coordinating appointments, clinical activities, attendance at committee meetings, and the scheduling of visits/visitors. You will also provide meeting secretarial support including meeting coordination, minute taking etc. Additionally, you will undertake project support functions for all studies under direction, to meet the administrative requirements of the study.

Providing a range of accurate financial functions, transactions, and procedures for the unit is also a key aspect of this role.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Analyse problems objectively and make recommendations for their resolution
  • Contribute to and work in a harmonious team environment
