Director of Curriculum

This is a senior leadership position that involves leading the curriculum focus in alignment with school and departmental initiatives.
The successful candidate will have experience and well-developed interpersonal skills to support staff through coaching and capability building, particularly in effectively delivering the Australian Curriculum to all learners.
About The PositionYou will be responsible for leading a team of teachers to implement Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum, promoting literacy development, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
The school has implemented the Promoting Literacy Development (PLD) Phonics Program, and this role will include a teaching component.
Your Responsibilities- Developing a Whole School Approach to Reading in line with the Department's reading commitment to teach reading consistently using an evidence-informed approach.
- Create an Inclusive Learning Culture.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
