Job Summary

The Accounts Officer will report directly into the Financial Controller and be the key contact for the AP & AR function for one particular business unit within a rapidly growing construction group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and manage customer invoicing process
  • End-to-end AP & AR
  • Generate monthly statements
  • Management of relationships with customers
  • Reconciliations of accounts
  • Financial reporting and record keeping
  • Assist finance team with ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in similar role
  • Xero accounting experience advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent attitude with desire to grow in role
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to prioritise own work
  • Positive upbeat attitude and excellent time management skills
