Graduate Accountant

This graduate accountant role offers a supportive and dynamic environment to develop your skills and advance your career in accounting.

  • Support the delivery of client, tax and accounting services by providing administrative assistance to all members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of income tax returns with a focus on increasing knowledge and reducing amendments.
  • Bookkeeping duties performed with a high attention to detail and developing understanding of all bookkeeping functions.
  • Preparation of BAS's and IAS's with a view towards reducing amendments.
  • Communication with the ATO in relation to basic client matters.
  • Completion of research for tax, company and superannuation law matters, subject to review of a senior.
Essential Requirements:
  • Recent or upcoming Commerce related degree.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work within teams and adapt to change.
