Graduate Accountant Opportunity

PHE is a leading industrial electrical contracting company seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our team in Brisbane, AU.

This role offers a fast-paced and diverse environment where you will be supported as you start your Accounting career while gaining exposure into the Mining and Construction industry.

We are a growing company with projects and branch locations across Australia, offering a safe and efficient work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.

About the Role:
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings: depreciation, accruals, prepayments.
  • Post inter-company debtor/creditor settlements and loan reconciliations, reconcile plant and equipment leases, and maintain Trust ledgers, bank reconciliations, and trial balances (Excel and Xero).
  • Assist the Group Accountant with monthly reporting and year-end processes, reconcile Wages and superannuation, and assist with ad-hoc projects.
  • Liaise with the Administration team across the business.
Key Requirements:
  • Qualification in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Good understanding of Excel & Microsoft Office Suite, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Xero and MYOB EXO is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
